At age 13, I traveled with my family by plane from the East to the West Coast armed with only a Brownie camera and one roll of film.  Sitting beside the window and looking down as we traveled across country, with only 12 shots available on the roll, decisions had to be made as to what picture to take and when.  From then on, I learned to “make each picture count.”

 

Today, I have turned that photographic “eye” into an art form as I capture the essence of people’s personal treasures for my co-owned estate liquidation business.   I have expanded my passion for taking pictures into my solo enterprise –

In addition to my work as a photographer I am also a children’s book author - The Mudman and The Rabbit -  and a published poet. I live in southern coastal Maine with my wife, Ellen, and border collie/mix, Katie.  When not busy with the liquidation business, writing or out taking pictures, I enjoy traveling and playing golf!
